Prices

We will discuss any treatment options with you and provide an estimate of the likely cost. If during the course of treatment it becomes obvious that the fees are likely to go above the estimate then you will be contacted.

 

For all equine visits payment is expected within a two weeks from the invoice being sent. Any late payments may be charged as per terms and conditions. We do encourage all clients to phone the practice 24 hours after a visit to make payment over the phone.

 

We accept cash, cheques (supported by a valid bankers card), Switch, Visa, Mastercard and Delta Cards or bacs. Unfortunately credit is not available.

 

In some circumstances where insurance will cover the veterinary fees we are able to claim directly from your insurance company. All direct claims must be pre autherised with the practice and the policy excess must be paid in full prior to commencing treatment.

 

Dependent on the treatment your horses recieve prices can vary considerably.  For an accurate and up to date estimate please contact the surgery and we will more than happy to help. Outline below are routine visit prices. Out of Hours and emergency visits will have additional fees.

 

Payment

 

Equine vaccination (influenza and Tetanus)                           £39.90

Equine examination                                                                    £41.77

 

All visits are subject to a visit band fee as follows

Visit Band A (within 5 Miles of practice)                                   £25.00

Visit Band B (5 -15 Miles of pratice)                                          £37.26

Visit Band C (over 15 miles of practice)                                    £52.39

 

We also offer free and 1/2 price visits on select days please click the link below for current offers.

 

NB: If more than one horse being seen at a yard at the saame time the visit fee with be divided by the number of horses examined by the vet.
